Circular Business Models and monetization for recycled composite materials

We are thrilled to join forces with the international DeremCo Project to develop sustainable, cost-effective solutions and Business Models for Circular Economy. The focus is in recycling composite materials.

Why is this needed?

Huge volumes of composite waste from sectors like wind energy, construction and transportation are landfilled or incinerated, despite the embedded value in the materials. This represents a major untapped business opportunity for technologies and services that enable circular solutions, especially as sustainability regulations and customer pressure intensify. It’s estimated that over 2.5 million tons of composite waste will be generated annually by 2030.

Superteam with trailblazers

We approach this business opportunity with the international Superteam co-innovation process, powered with Lead Users and DeremCo experts.

Superteam consists of pioneers and trailblazers who see and do what others haven´t yet imagined. They are leaders in their fields. What unites them is the ability to see beyond the horizon.

The Superteam opens doors to sustainable business innovations using circular composite materials, co-develop new monetization strategies, and identify the critical enablers needed to bring these solutions to life.

Impact

Through its innovative approach and strong international collaboration, the DeremCo Project is poised to make a significant contribution to the EU’s Circular Economy objectives, transforming a pressing waste problem into a valuable economic and environmental opportunity.
